Hemorrhoid Treatment Update: a New Alternative Called PPH

I’ve recently watched a video on YouTube about a relatively new type of hemorrhoid treatment surgery called PPH, Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids. If you have been avoiding a visit to your doctor and suffering in silence because of the fear of a traditional hemorrhoid surgery, I have good news for you.

Changes in your bowel movements or anal bleeding are signs that you probably have hemorrhoids and that you should pay a visit to your doctor. PPH is a minimally invasive surgery available in the United States that instead of removing the hemorrhoids as traditional surgical approaches, it simply pulls them back up inside your rectum. After the surgery, your hemorrhoids will no longer stick out, protrude, cause pressure or bleeding.

Clinical trials comparing the traditional surgical approach and PPH, have shown very good results for those who undergo this new type of surgery. Less pain, a quicker recovery and need for less medication after the procedure are good indicators that this is a good alternative to the old feared hemorrhoid surgery.

People who undergo this new type of treatment can go back to work within a week, as opposed to a month. The surgery takes just half an hour to complete and the patient doesn’t even have to go to sleep for the operation to take place.

Even though PPH is a safe surgery, it is not for everyone. Most hemorrhoid sufferers do not need such drastic measures and can treat their hemorrhoids with creams, suppositories or lifestyle changes.

Here’s the video I talked to you about:

PS: If you have already tried PPH, please share your results and experiences. What do you think about the procedure compared to the traditional surgery? Did you have any complications? How long did it take for you to recover?

One Response to Hemorrhoid Treatment Update: a New Alternative Called PPH

  1. Hello. It is nice to see I am not on my own publishing information that will assist fellow sufferers of this terrible, not to mention uncomfortable, condition. Typical of me, my blog is a little on the sloppy side, so thought I would pop by and see if I could get some ideas on tidying things up a bit. Thanks for assisting me with this, and trust me you have. Best regards.
